This is a collection of service road, double track, ATV track, and a smidge of singletrack, all of which is there to provide a network of cross country ski trails. Most of the tread is wide, nontechnical, and there are only a couple of tough hills, but one is a doozy.
From Taos, go south on 68. At the south end of town go left on 518. Follow 518 just over 14 miles and look for a sign indicating forest road 703. Go left on 703 and follow it to the parking area.
